Actor, Gothic Illusionist and Host, Ron Fitzgerald (aka Master Ron Fitzgerald) is a strange man and the multi-talented Master of his Realm. Over the past 25 years he has worked in the Performing Arts, Theatre, Television and Film. Hardly your traditional magician, his shaved head, high boots, and black clothing, make him look like he just stepped out of an alternative rock video. Fitzgerald is a provacative entertainer who's mischievous charm is an irresistable temptation. This is also why he's being cast in Horror, Sci-Fi and Documentary films. He's an eloquent combination of mad magician, actor, stand-up comedian, and performance artist. Master Fitzgerald has singularly taken the art of Magic in a strange new direction. "I'm a hybrid of artistic illusionist and edgy TV horror host." Fitzgerald describes his Gothic persona. "I want to take Magic beyond traditional boundaries and polite entertainment," he explains,"I'm inspired by David Bowie not David Copperfield."
 

His live show, Fitzgerald's Realm of Magic,  is an innovative blend of dramatic illusion, alternative music, and outrageous audience participation that combines all the style of a theatrical event with the power of a rock concert. It can only be described as "dark, sticky, vampire fun!" Fitzgerald's style is the fusion of bizare Magic, performance art and his wicked sense of humor. Amongst the Horror trappings of castles and gargoyles, Fitzgerald dismembers, levitates and cremates his naughty assistants all to a soundtrack of powerful Gothic/Industrial rock music. Between illusions Fitzgerald performs with the wit of a stand-up comedian. Many times the show moves beyond magic into bits of bizarre fun with the audience. It's asrtistic, creepy and fun! But fear not Fitzgerald's Realm of Magic is a family show........but only if you're the Addams family!

 
The wild, dark and seductive Fitzgerald's Realm of Magic has been a big hit in concerts, clubs, colleges and theatres everywhere, from The Magic Castle in Hollywood to  the Hong Kong Halloween Festival. In addition, Fitzgerald is the only illusionist ever to play the second stage at Lollapalooza.

Having A taste for the wicked and weird side of Magic and acting in Horror films has lead to numerous Halloween engagements at top haunted attractions, Halloween and Horror events across the nation and beyond. Recognized for this, Fitzgerald is featured in Paul Osborne's 'Haunted Illusions' book, where Paul writes, "Ron is Halloween!"

Also, Ron was creator, producer, and host of his very own cable TV show, Fitzgerald's Realm. This weird bit of TV ran for several years on Chicagoland cable to the twisted delight of it's many fans. It became a cult hit for which he is still recognized. Fitzgerald has captured the national spotlight appearing on such shows as Night Flight, Sightings and The Nightly News on ABC, NBC, and FOX. Fitzgerald also gained notoriety when he made a goat vanish on live Television on WGN in Chicago to lift the  "goat curse" on the Cubs. (We are still waiting for this "Mojo" to work!)

Breaking into acting and film, Fitzgerald was cast in the role of Dr. Ody in the independent feature, "The Item.". It went to the Sundance Film Festival in 1999 where it was their first ever digital admission. "The Item" also played many other film festivals around the world before it's release in 2001. It has also played on the Sundance Film Channel as their first Midnight Movie. Ron has also acted in the Horror films "Vermis" and the very gooey "Blood Gnome" where he performs a variation of his signature "Vampire's Kiss" illusion. In a "Blood Gnome" review Cultclips.net wrote: "Fitzgerald definitely has a presence when on screen." Fitzgerald is also in the lead/title role of the Magus Fernos in John Lechago's highly anticipated Horror/Fantasy film "Magus".  Ron is also featured in the stunnung new documentary film "National Vampire" that explores the Vampire/Gothic culture in the US. This film is now headed for the festival circut. Also coming soon are the Horror films "The Thirsting" which also features veteran Actor Micky Rooney, "Conscious", "Afraid of Sunrise" and the Horror/Comedy "Horrorween". You will aslo find Ron performing his Gothic Illusions and as a featured guest at many Horror, Sci-Fi and Gothic converntions and film festivals across the contry. Fitzgerald is so much freaky fun he will leave you screaming for more!
